From Quebec City:

  • Take 175 N (towards Saguenay), then turn left on 169. Continue on 169 to Saint-Henri-de-Taillon. Turn left on Rang 3 West.

Les-Amicaux sector (95, Chemin Belley, Saint-Henri-de-Taillon)

From Quebec City:

  • Take 175 N (towards Saguenay) for 100 km, then turn left on 169. Continue until Alma (Saint-Coeur-de-Marie sector) then towards Saint-Henri-de-Taillon. Turn left on chemin des Petits-fruits for 2,3 km. Then turn right on Chemin Belley for 1 km.

Camp-de-Touage-Les-Îles sector (450, Chemin du Golf, Saint-Gédéon)

From Quebec City:

  • Take 175 N (towards Saguenay) for 100 km, then turn left on 169 (direction Alma/Roberval) for 86 km. Turn left on 170 West for 8.6 km. At Saint-Gédéon, at the traffic roundabout, take the first exit towards rue Dequen for 4.2 km. Turn left on Rang des îles for 4.9 km. Turn right on Chemin du Golf for 1.5 km.

The park is open year-round. When planning your activities, find out when services are available for each sector. To get to the supervised beach in the Pointe-Taillon sector, take Route 169.

Pointe-Taillon Sector

Public Transit

Public transit is available to the town of Alma, 25 km from the Pointe-Taillon sector. There's not public transit between Alma and Saint-Henri-de-Taillon.

Inside our Discovery and Visitors Centre (Pointe-Taillon sector), you will find a vast array of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, discovery products for young people, and outdoor items at the Boutique Nature store.

Food Services

At the Discovery and Visitors Centre of Pointe-Taillon sector, you'll find a snack bar with an indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of Lac Saint-Jean. It is open to visitors and users of the supervised beach, the cycling path and the campground. Local microbrewery beers available for on-site consumption.

Shuttle Service

Péribonka

A shuttle ferry ($) links the municipality of Péribonka and Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon. This ferry gives cyclists, hikers and campers access to the cycling path and the Pointe-Chevrette and Île-Bouliane campgrounds. No reservation required: go directly to the marina. Details and rates (in French only)

Camp-de-Touage campground to Saint-Gédéon

Daily shuttle service to the islands: for a few hours, come and enjoy the tranquility of the islands' beaches. Several departures are possible depending on weather conditions.

Thematic excursions: a guide-interpreter tells you the history of the sector, the native presence, the log drive period and the industrial development, during a two-hour zodiac ride around the islands.

Sunset excursion: the sunset is a must and deserves to be seen! Of course, the view from the lake is breathtaking.

Pets

Since May 17, 2019, dogs are allowed. However, they are only allowed in certain areas. Check out the applicable rules and authorized sites.

Guide dogs and service dogs are allowed everywhere. Other pets are still prohibited in national parks.
