On your own or with the family, as a couple or with friends, participate in the park’s captivating discovery activities. Let a park warden share his or her passion for the territory and the nature it protects.

Fascinating discoveryes await you! On the agenda: rich and diversified wildlife, a generous forest with lush green glades, a majestic river with a long history and unique landscapes. Go on a hike, attend a theatrical talk, listen to a storyteller by the fire, participate in a rally.

Take a rabaska canoe ride and fall under the spell of the Jacques Cartier, this river of a thousand faces where salmon, trout, moose and the Great Blue Heron coexist.

Explore mysterious underground shelters! A fascinating world featuring gigantic blocks of rock, cool passages and moss carpets.

When night falls, raise the veil on the mysteries of the night either on foot or by rabaska. Treat yourself to some silence, relaxation and discovery.

For groups (day camp, scouts, social clubs, etc.), all year round the park offers activities adapted to your type of group

Are you more independent? No problem! Explore Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier on your own and soak up the spirit of the area.

  • The Glimpse
    An enriching walk for the whole family, which takes you into the magnificent environment of Ruisseau Belleau. Discover its landscape, its plant and animal life, and its history. Brochure available at the Discovery and Visitors Centre.
  • The Mountain Spur
    Discover Épaule mountain, explore the twists and turns of its river, and treat yourself to a series of amazing views of the valleys. For centuries, explorers used the valleys as access routes to the plateau. Audio-visual discovery panels tell you about the pages of history this mountain has witnessed.
  • The Confluence
    A delta teeming with life. Formed in the place where Rivière Jacques-Cartier and Rivière Sautauriski meet, this delta offers a rich variety of terrestrial, wetland, and aquatic habitats. Come discover this amazing environment, home to a wide variety of plant and animal life.

Get yourself a log

Strap on a pair of snowshoes and experience the wonders of the twilight by treading the snowy white carpet off the beaten track. Back at camp, let yourself be transported to the days of the lumberjacks and log drivers who worked the Jacques-Cartier concession. Then warm up and enjoy local sausages and microbrewery beer, before rounding out the adventure with an evening of tall tales courtesy of our fabulous storyteller... A good time guaranteed for all!
