Parc national de Frontenac straddles the Cantons-de-l'Est and Chaudière-Appalaches tourism regions. Its 3 sectors are spread over nearly 30 km around Grand Lac Saint-François.

This sector is located halfway between the Southern and Saint-Daniel sectors. To access it, follow the directions to Parc national de Frontenac (Sainte-Praxède sector).
As of summer 2024, level 2 charging stations will be available at the following locations: the Southern Discovery and Visitors Centre parking lot (2) and the Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre parking lot (2). Details
IMPORTANT: The park's roads leading to the activities and services are gravel roads. The park is accessible year-round, but during fall and winter, there is no service on site. Outside the regular season, traffic is restricted on certain roads in the park. Cyclists and hikers having paid the entry fee can access the trail network from the following parking lots:
Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre
Located at 2 km from the sector entrance. Services: reception and information, payment of entry fee, camper registration, boutique, mini-convenience store, provincial fishing licence and nautical equipment rental

When the Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre and the registration post are closed, customers must pay their entry fee (cash only) using the self-payment terminal or by purchasing their daily access online.

Southern Discovery and Visitors Centre
Located at 800 m from the sector entrance. Services: reception and information, payment of entry fee, camper, canoer/camper, and cabin user registration, provincial fishing licence, boat rental, boutique and mini-convenience store

Come take a look at our wide range of souvenirs, clothing for adults and children, as well as outdoor items offered at the Saint-Daniel Visitors Centre and the Southern Discovery and Visitors Centre.
Please note that the last rental must be made at least 75 minutes before the closing of the rental centre.

Parc national de Frontenac, in collaboration with Happy Yak meals, offers a ready-to-eat food service. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, Happy Yak meals are delicious, easy to prepare and lightweight for transport. They provide enough calories to meet the nutritional needs of fans of the great outdoors and the portions are very generous.
Discover Happy Yak products at the Discovery and Visitors Centre (Southern Sector) and at the Visitors Centre (Saint-Daniel sector). Happy Yak meals, accomplices in your outdoor adventures!
Visitors must bring their own lunch when visiting the park. A convenience store is available on site.

Since May 17, 2019, dogs are allowed. However, they are only allowed in certain areas. Check out the applicable rules and authorized sites.
Guide dogs and service dogs are allowed everywhere. Other pets are still prohibited in national parks.
