The generous nature of Québec offers a vast array of places conducive to wonder, relaxation, and outdoor activities. Sépaq is committed to connecting people with nature. Sépaq is continually improving its facilities and thinking outside the box to make them more accessible than ever.

The pleasure of being at the beach

Parc national d’Oka

As part of its commitment to making its activities accessible to individuals with restricted mobility, the Parc national d'Oka makes the Hippocampe recreational wheelchair available free of charge. The beach, water activities, and hiking trails are thus more readily accessible to one and all. The beach-front boardwalk offers a striking view of Lac des Deux-Montagnes. There’s even picnic tables and an adapted playground for the little ones!

Note that Hippocampe wheelchairs are also available in Aiguebelle, Mont-Orford, OpémicanPointe-Taillon and Yamaska national parks, as well as at Station touristique Duchesnay. These establishments have also taken care to provide easily accessible washroom facilities.

The joys of ready-to-camps

Parc national d’Oka

You don't have camping gear? Traditional ready-to-camp sites have been adapted for individuals with restricted mobility. By the way, the park also offers two adapted car-accessible Compact cabins.

Tailor-made fishing

Réserve faunique Mastigouche and Réserve faunique Ashuapmushuan

Fishing season has finally begun! For a hassle-free fishing trip, stay in the comfort of Lac Jouet cabin, or Lac-Chigoubiche cabin #4, which are adapted for people with reduced mobility. A number of cabins with access ramps are also offered across the network.

Parc national d’Aiguebelle

A feature of Parc national d’Aiguebelle, the La Castorière self-guided wheelchair-adapted discovery trail is a Kéroul Honourable Mention award recipient. The Abijévis campground and the Longicorne cabin are also great locations for a stay with people with restricted mobility.

It's a must-see attraction in the Capitale-Nationale region! Rain or shine, our activities and our exhibitions promise you a busy, fun-filled day of discovery. All outdoor pathways as well as access to the Freshwater and Saltwater Pavilion are paved or asphalt (recommended accompaniment).

Everyone adores this peaceful place. Labbé cabin is located at the edge of the lake. Its terrace offers an exceptional view. The peatbog is a must-see. The sector is home to a number of species of carnivorous plants and orchids. Visitors can take in all these wonders while exploring its lengthy boardwalk without stairs.

Station touristique Duchesnay

Station touristique Duchesnay, a premier year-round resort, is located 30 minutes from Québec City, on the edge of Lac Saint-Joseph. The hotel offers five rooms adapted for people with restricted mobility. In addition, the terrace with a view of the lake is easily accessible.

Parc national du Mont-Mégantic

Take the time to stop at the heart of the first International Dark Sky Reserve. Located at the foot of the mountain, ASTROLab is a museum that includes three exhibition halls and a multimedia room with a giant screen. You can also visit the Observatory, located at an altitude of 1,105 m and accessible by car. Places for wheelchair users are also reserved. A number of organized activities take place on site.

An awesome waterfall

Parc de la Chute-Montmorency

Between river and cliffs, it's one of the most spectacular sites of the province. Looming some 83 metres high, majestic Montmorency Falls dominates the landscape. You can take the cableway, explore the trails, and get tantalizingly close to the waterfall. Food services are available at Manoir Montmorency, as well as at the station.
