If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, Réserve faunique de Rimouski is the perfect destination. With about forty lakes spread over four accommodation sectors, you can easily find the location of your dreams for your next fishing expedition. The wildlife reserve includes Grand Lac Victoria and two gigantic reservoirs, Dozois and Cabonga, which feed rivers with names evoking local cultures. More than 800 lakes are open to fishing for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, and other species. Just an hour northwest of Québec City, Réserve faunique de Portneuf offers some of the most accessible fishing trips for anglers in the region. Take advantage of the first few weeks of the season to reel in the sizeable speckled trout and lake trout of this wildlife reserve. For exceptional quality fishing, Parke and Lapeyrère sectors (Castor, Lynx, De l'Anse, De la Baie, De la Terrasse, Du Barrage, and Du Coteau cabins) are an absolute must.
