Discover the Park Through Interpretation

Parc national du Mont-Tremblant has the potential to inspire wonder! And the best way is to participate in our discovery activities (in French only). Through the interpretation of natural and cultural heritage, you’ll learn more about the park and the importance of protecting it.

Among the riches we wish to share is the significant presence of mammals in direct contact with the area’s natural environment:

  • Wolf packs reflect the wilderness character of the territory and the abundance of prey
  • The moose evokes mixed forests and aquatic environments.
  • The dominance of hardwood and mixed forests explains the presence of white-tailed deer, at the northern limit of their range here.
  • The bounty of hardwood species, mostly maple-yellow birch, and the vast river system explain the abundance of beaver.

To guide us in developing our discovery activities, all the parks have an education plan.

Discovery Centre

During your visit to the park, you’ll be able to stop in at the Discovery Centre, built in La Diable sector on the eastern shore of Grand lac Monroe. It is the hub of La Diable sector, a place for getting together, discussing and learning. It present the park’s cultural and natural heritage. Complementary to the Lac-Monroe Visitors Centre, for the benefit of all visitors this is the sector’s main reception office.
