The general store is located in the Discovery and Visitors Centre. It offers a wide range of souvenir items, adult and children's clothing, heritage discovery products for young people, and outdoor items. It also offers educational products, such as books and activity books. The general store also offers convenience items.

Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, in collaboration with Happy Yak meals, offers a ready-to-eat food service. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, Happy Yak meals are delicious, easy to prepare and lightweight for transport. They provide enough calories to meet the nutritional needs of fans of the great outdoors and the portions are very generous.
Discover Happy Yak products (about fifteen main dishes, five meal soups, and several desserts) at the Discovery and Visitors Centre. Happy Yak meals, accomplices in your outdoor adventures!

Outdoor enthusiasts currently can count on a public transportation service to travel from Quebec City to Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier without a car.
Every day of the week, all year round, you can take the Quatre Natures shuttle from Place d’Armes (9 a.m.) or from Gare du Palais (9:10 a.m.) to go directly to the discovery and visitors centre at the heart of Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. Booking required. The return trip will be at 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. (depending on the season) from the discovery and visitors centre (travel time: 45 minutes). Details

Guide dogs and service dogs are allowed everywhere. Other pets are still prohibited in national parks.
