Modification of the offer
The Lake trout fishing with accommodation (personal watercraft) package will no longer be offered starting 2025. However, it will be possible to book a regular fishing stay with Sépaq watercraft package in the sector that used to offer the above-mentioned personal watercraft fishing package (L'Étape - Lac Jacques-Cartier sector). Thus, it will no longer be possible to use your personal watercraft on the lakes of these sectors. Through the deployment of these measures, Sépaq continues its involvement in the fight against aquatic invasive species and further protects the bodies of water it manages by reducing the risk of spread.
Modification of the catch and keep limit (brook trout)
Please note that the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec (MELCCFP) is reducing the catch and keep limit from 15 to 10 brook trout for fishing activities. This measure applies as of the 2024 season and is intended to protect brook trout populations.
