Activities at the foot of the mountain (ASTROLab)
During Winter : You have 1h30 to participate at the activities: Free visit of the Du ciel étoilé à l'Univers infini (from the starry sky to the infinite universe) exhibition. Viewing of the ultra high-definition film Émergence : l'évolution cosmique (emergence: cosmic evolution). This activity is known to include visiting the Observatory at the top of the mountain in the summer. In the winter season, from January to mid-May, as it is not possible to climb to the top to visit the Observatory, a 50% discount is automatically applied to the reservation. Activities are conducted in French.
During summer : You have 2h15 to participate at the activities:
Guided tour of the Du ciel étoilé à l'Univers infini (from the starry sky to the infinite universe) exhibition.
Viewing of the ultra high-definition film Émergence : l'évolution cosmique (emergence: cosmic evolution).
Family animation.
Virtual reality experience available for ages 8 and up.
Activities are conducted in French.
Activities at the summit of the mountain (at both observatories) During summer, plan to drive to the top with your vehicle to visit one of the Observatories at the top of Mont-Mégantic, available between approximately 1:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
Procedure
Go to the Observatoire sector welcome centre 15 minutes before the selected departure time. The welcome centre is located 25 minutes from Franceville sector.
