Campingdes Voltigeurs

The Village Québécois d'Antan pioneer village is made up of real homes and buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries that have been relocated to an exceptional site and enchanting setting. Much more than a historical tour, the Village offers an experience to be lived and relived all year round. You'll find a donut shop, a bakery, a church, a financial co-operative (Caisse Populaire), a notary's house, and a general store.

When the past takes on a whole new dimension. Tonight, our time machine has gone haywire!

As you explore the village at night with friends, expect the unexpected. Through a multimedia scenography integrating lights, sounds, and video projections, you’ll discover a quirky universe where history transforms, distorts, and shifts from the real to the surreal.

Wander freely among the outdoor installations and get ready for some unusual participatory moments as you visit the various light portals. Then enjoy all that the Village has to offer in nocturnal mode, with a bite to eat and a pleasant drink in good company.

Fall rhymes with fright at Village Québécois d'Antan. Although family activities for children take place during the day, the main attraction remains the Haunted Village, which awakens when night falls. Horror lovers, get ready to howl in fear, as bloodthirsty creatures lurk in the shadows, waiting for you to let your guard down, and then take you into the depths of horror.

Victor and the gift of dreams (Victor et le cadeau des songes)

On his birthday, Victor, an ambitious young man, has a dream encounter with a ratty hamster who wants to help him succeed in life. But who is this mysterious, hairy, and often misguided advisor?

Fortunately, Victor has a magical grandmother who can trick career-minded hamsters. And so, for our dreamer, the gift of dreams becomes an astonishing, essential adventure!

This aerial hebertism circuit is perfect for letting off steam in the forest – with a magnificent view of the river to boot! Featuring 90 workshops of varying levels of difficulty, Extéria is a regional hot spot. Tree activities, ziplines, monkey bridges, Tarzan jumps, ground-level hebertism circuits – there's something for everyone!

Booking is mandatory: The circuits at the Extéria adventure playground are very popular indeed! That's why you need to book ahead online or by phone at 819-397-4544.

Firefly evenings

Nighttime outing in the trees for ages 16 and up. Join our dynamic team for a unique circuit and experience! Armed with your headlamp and your courage, you can try out our outdoor activities... in the dark!

Young and old alike have fun swimming in the new outside pool with water games. Heated water and lifeguards ensure comfort and safety for everyone.

Note: access to the pool is reserved for campers only.

Period (subject to change without notice) :

• June 21 to August 17, 2025, every day, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• August 18 to September 8, 2025, Saturday and Sunday only (depending on weather and lifeguard availability)

Bike along the asphalt trails that criss-cross Camping des Voltigeurs.

Bike rental available at the Visitors Centre. Free bike loans for children of 17 years of age and under in a family situation. Limited quantities.

You can also take the magnificent Promenade Rivia, which leads west to downtown Drummondville and east to Parc des Voltigeurs on a new section: a 4.5 km trail offering a unique view of Rivière Saint-François.

For longer outings, explore Route Verte and the different cycling paths that run nearby. The Drummond MRC offers 200 km of bike paths, including a part of the Route verte, as well as three new circuits, Parc à Parc, of varying intensity. You won't have a chance to get bored!

Someting new! This summer, the Parc régional de la Forêt Drummond will be offering a 27.5 km network of cross-country mountain bike trails.

This year, the calendar of activities offered at the campground gets even better, with a varied and rich program.

Two scavenger hunt style tours are offered to discover the local birds. An easier circuit for the little ones is located in the centre of the campground while a second circuit stretches all over the campground and will keep the older ones busy for a good while!

Promenade Rivia

Promenade Rivia, located squarely in Camping des Voltigeurs, is a privileged link to the downtown area. You can stroll alone, with family, or with friends, and enjoy access to the shore of Rivière Saint-François. It is possible to walk, run, in-line skate, or bike along the 2.5 km long promenade, in an aesthetic, welcoming, and safe environment. Exploring Promenade Rivia is a must to discover Drummondville from an entirely different angle.

Parc à parc

A new riverside circuit will take you through all of Drummondville's parks along Rivière Saint-François. Three levels of difficulty are offered: family, intermediate, and athletic. See the network map (in French only)

Cycling network of the regional county municipality (RCM)

The Circuit des traditions is a network of 183 km of bike paths running through the Drummond RCM, of which 57.5 km are part of the Route Verte. The four loops of the circuit cross a total of 14 municipalities. Bicycle rentals are available directly at the campground.

Parc régional de la Forêt Drummond

This exceptional natural site, intersected by Rivière Saint-François, is perfect for walking, biking, and wildlife watching. Located 13 km from the campground, it is accessible by bike or by car. Someting new! La Ferme du Bassin

An educational farm for young children. Here you can see 26 different species, divided into 100 varieties, for a total of almost a hundred animals. Located 18 minutes from the campground.
