Réserve faunique La Vérendrye

Water is a treasure trove at Réserve faunique La Vérendrye. The wildlife reserve includes Grand Lac Victoria and two gigantic reservoirs, Dozois and Cabonga, which feed rivers with names evoking local cultures. More than 800 lakes are open to fishing for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, and other species. To start the season with a splash, our team suggests our Étoile ready-to-camp on Grand Lake Victoria or a camping experience on one of our 1,250 sites spread across the reserve.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, Réserve faunique de Rimouski is the perfect destination. With about forty lakes spread over four accommodation sectors, you can easily find the location of your dreams for your next fishing expedition. For example, Lac-Perdrix and Lac-Rimouski cabins are located near fish-filled lakes that will tickle your fancy at the beginning of the season.
